I'm curious. How many of you have rewigged any of your dolls or would want to?
I have two rewigged dolls, Olivia and Tabitha. I know some of you were asking me what wig I got for Olivia. Sorry I never answered - been busy. Her wig came from Audrey's Doll Store or something like that. I think it is a Kemper wig, the Marie style. I LOVE her in that wig. It just is so full and beautiful. It's not bad quality, but it is a lesser quality than AG wigs, of course. Tabby's wig came from a seller off of eBay and I don't think I was ever told the brand. I'm getting a GT 2, and I plan to take Tabby's old wig (#21 honey blonde) and put it on him. Of course, I will have to do some work on the wig to make it usable, but I think it will look great. I would love to have more dolls to rewig - its so fun.
What does everyone else think?

I've only done the one (who's in my avatar), and it was so fun!

I'm looking for a blue eyed Gotz Little Sister doll to rewig, and would definitely buy any really cheap AG with the intention of rewigging and perhaps some more freckling.

It's so much fun to be able to customize your dolls to be exactly as you want them, especially since AG only offers a limited number of "looks."

Dionne, where did you get that gorgeous curly blonde wig? (for some reason you deleted the picture, but I believe it's the one that's in your signature), it's so sweet!

Dionne, that red wig looks exactly like Tabitha's! Where did you get it? I'd like to know, so I can maybe see if it comes in other colors. Or I could look back on my eBay records....I love your dolls you guys!

I could understand it if you wanted a doll to look a very specific way (say, getting an AGOT to look like you or ... I dunno, if you wanted a dollie with blue hair), but if I want a Samantha doll, I want her with the wig Mattel/Pleasant Company stuck on her.

So *I* wouldn't do it, but I can see why others would.

The blonde wig in my siggie is a Monique Sara Mae, and the red wig is a Kemper Estella.

I've re-wigged one AG and several My Twinns. I've purchased both Kemper and Monique wigs, and prefer the Monique brand, as the Monique wigs I've used have had thicker hair.

I'm also prone to cutting my dolls' hair. So far, four of them have gotten haircuts.

EEEEEKK!!!! I could NEVER cut a doll's hair!!

(Except maybe to even up the ends of a bad previous haircut, but even then....shudder!! )

I guess I'm just not that brave; anyway, I prefer the PM AG wigs to anything else I've seen.

Takes all kinds, you know....
